Any type of smoke has carbon monoxide, which allows your blood to carry less oxygen. Burning substances also causes many new chemicals to be formed other than the ones that make up the inscence, so I would say "yes"

But why would you smoke insence? That's like smoking air freshner. Weird.

All smoke is harmful, due to its potential effect in the lungs. Incense is not as harmful as cigarettes, because you are mainly just smelling the incense, not inhaling deeply repetitively.

yes it is so just don't stick your face in it and breathe it right from the burner, after it dissapates into the air it is less concentrated!

no, not as long as you inhale it constantly but other then that you should be fine
