i don't know much about when and how it looks, but i do know that over the course of 5 generations of ipods, they've always lowered the price of the previous gen. when theyrelease the new one, so in probably about a year or two, they'll come out with gen 6 ipod which will almost deffinitely be 299 for the 30 or 40 GB might even enlarge size of capacity, and 399 for the larger one 60GB maybe more

They have never leaked information about an upcoming product, so there is no way they would now
the only way to find out is wait..
