my husband was watching TV and they said that there will definitely be a pirates of the caribbean 3....but they are negotiating contracts for 4 and 5

Well i already know what part three is about (no i'm not making it up) all i know is that Pirates from all over are becoming "extinct" i don't know if they are being killed or if no one wants to become a pirate but what ever the case maybe there are less and less pirates in the world, so they all put their differences aside and try to find a way to survive i guess, to sum it all up it's pretty much "Pirates of the world unite" no that's not the name of the movie but it going to be about that. NO NONE OF THIS IS MADE UP EITHER

There will be a pirates of the caribbean as long as their are pirates on the high seas. ARRGGHH
People love pirates and their high seas hijinks.

No it's just a trilogy. Johnny Depp is only going to be Jack Sparrow for 3 films.

If PotC3 does as well at the box office as PotC2 has done, you can bet there will be a 4th - Disney never lets go of a profitable franchise till it's wrung dry.

johnny depp said in a interview that in the end of the third the main cast will all be able to return for movie sequels. he also said that he and the others (orlando, kiera) are willing to continue the saga as long as the story is good because they loves playing their characters

No one knows yet, Johnny wants to keep playing his character but the others haven't signed on to do a 4th yet. it would depend on how they end the third if there will be a 4th one.
