How do you take care of a Hamster? Is it hard to take care of one?

no its not that hard. You just need a cage (get a glass aquarium tank style one), some food (you can buy hampster food at any pet store), get him one of those running wheels or put some empty paper towel tubes for him to play in, he needs a water bottle and get some of that hampster saw dust stuff to put in the bottom of the cage. That's it. Just make sure he has food and water, something to play with, and a cage that he can't get out of. Other than that they are really no hassel (although you do need to clean the cage every once and a while). I've had several hampsters, and they aren't difficult at all. They make great pets for kids who aren't old enough for the responsibility of cats and dogs, or for someone who is allergic to cats and dogs.

It's like the easisest thing to take care of! Get a 10 or 15 gallon aquarium, buy some bedding, some food, toys, a wheel. Change the bedding at least every other week.

hamsters aren't hard to take care of. i had one for 2 years and all you have to do is make sure it has food, water, a clean cage, and a way to excercise(a wheel in the cage and/or a ball it can roam the house in). i also suggest keeping it in a metal bar cage so that it can chew on the bars (this helps keep it's teeth healthy). try not to give it too many treats. my hamster liked pretzels but he only got one occationally. if you do give it treats i suggest pretzels and carrots.

Why are you getting one?It can be hard sometimes, and sometimes it's a piece of cake.
WELL, you have to buy food, and make sure you give it fresh water, like every 10 hours.Make sure to give them lot's of attention so they don't die of loneliness. ( that CAN happen ) And give them a dage big enough to roam around in and make it a bed so it can sleep comfortably.Make sure it is happy, if it seems lonely EVEN with you, you might want to get it another hamster. ( if it is a girl, get a boy. if it is a boy, get a girl. You know, if you do that, you can have babies so you can have more hamsters so when the parents die you can have more hamsters so you don't get so sad! )

Put it in a fish tank on cedar chips, Give it a wheel and food....You do have to change the chips every couple of days, It will stink real bad if you don't and the Hamster can get very sick in it's own urine .......
