The only way they would exist is if there were more than 4 dimensions. Just take an analogy with out (known) world and let us call time the fourth dimension.

It is possible for 2 two dimensional objects to exist in 3D because their 2 dimensions position could be the same but the third dimension could be different. Meaning their x-y coordinates could be the same but their z could be different (different heights for example, they could be right on top of each other). If we only had two dimensions and there was no concept of height, then it would be impossible.

It is possible for 2 three dimensional objects to exist in 4D because three of their dimensions could be the same but the fourth one had to be different.

And you can easily continue the analogy.

If we only have 4 dimensions, then it is not possible.
If we have more than 4 dimensions, then it is possible.

there is no such thing as a fourth dimension. it exists only in the minds of silly pseudo intellectuals. time is not a dimension, as dimensions are real, and time is a concept made up by man

It will depend on the subjects, solid. liquid or gas... or combination from them... but they do in some ways as they entwine and merge by default.
