The U.S. has vetoed a decision to stop Israel’s attack on the people of Gaza. It responded to Israelis attack in Lebanon as "Israel has a right to defend itself". Palestinian and Lebanese civilians have died among them children and women. Bombing civilian infrastructure is a war crime. How is Israel protecting it's civilians by doing that? Isn't this escalating the violence? Aren't they showing their enemies they are worse than them and are indorsing techniques that are criminal?

The U.S. stance is sad considering it claiming it's bringing peace and democracy in the ME.

Lastly, how the U.S. have a war on terror yet, indorse Israeli terror?

The U.S. condemned the kiddnap of the Isreali soldiers but hasn't condemned the killing of innocent people caught in Isreals retaliation. I wish it didn't get involved at all rather than flaming the situation by giving Israel a green light and intentionally overlooking it's aggression and collective punishment.

for those who are in deniel that Israel kills civilians make a quick google. Type : Israel kills civilians

you'll get articles as recent as today.

Deniel doesn't make it go away nor is it part of the solution.

The claim that all these civilians killed had a terrorists hiding among them is absord a lie made up for Isreal not to take responsibilities for it's actions.

There is a very influential and very vociferous Jewish lobby in US, controling US media and politics and the lives of American citizens. They are willing to sacrifice the real interests of the country for the sake of a cruel and belligerent state. America would have a more prosperous country if US adminstration used its leverage and power to help establish and maintain peace in the ME. The region is pontentially very rich and American corporate business could only benefit from an atmosphere of peaceful coexistence and stability. Sadly enough, US policies are meant to serve the interests of a few moneygrubbers, Mammon worshippers, the ruling oligarchy.

The only way the US will be able to calm the situation in the ME is to replace ALL the leaders with US-friendly leaders. And then, before the populations all revolt, the US has to replace the citizens with US-friendly citizens. Because let's face it, without us there, yes, there will be a lot of violence. But with us interfering, we give them ammunition to resent us, and we give them a single enemy to focus on (well, plus our allies who are also involved).

As for endorsing Israeli terror, well, the US is more overlooking it than endorsing it. Israeli is largely a US-created state, with many Jews and Christians alike determined to protect their religious homeland. So if a politician were to stand up to condemn the bombings, then a large, vocal segment of our own population would stand up to tell that politician to get the hell out of office. Only if the politicians united to create a unified front for denouncing the terror would the US start condeming this. But really, uniting? These are politicians, after all.

As long as the cowards hide among civilians who let their corrupt government house and encourage the combatants,
they have no rights.
And as long as you are on this subject...
I have absolutely no info on Israeli terror.
They don't target civilians
Never have.
Civilians have been killed i know but they don't, at least as I have heard, sent a boy or girl to bomb a bus full of people going to work so they can go to some kind of heaven.
So the difference is clear Israel will defend itself from terrorists.

Because it is finally time to let the Big Dog off the porch to clean up his neighborhood. Hamas crossed the fence and kidnapped 2 bones. Now Syria & Iran will be bitten. My guess is as soon as they realize Israel is crushing them - they will cry for peace. That's when Israel needs to finish the job. Those peolpe are crazy and that train of thouhgt needs to be changed drastically - if not eliminated.

You seem to have forgotten that the US worked hard for a peaceful diplomatic solution to the ME issue. You seem to have forgotten that Hamas, Hezbollah, and etc..... have dilebertly dirupted diplomacy with suicided bombers every time there is a peaceful hiatus.

Here's why the US supports Israel's military actions against Lebanon.

There are a group of fundamentalist Islamists launching bombs into Israeli cities from Lebanese territory. This group's name is Hezbollah -- literally translating to "God's Army." They believe that women should be forced to cover themselves from head to toe, that men should be compelled to pray 5 times daily, and that Israel should be wiped off the face of the map. (think Spanish Inquisition and you're getting warm)

This group believes in using suicide bombers, missiles, rifles, sticks and stones to obtain their objectives. They fully embrace violence and have never denied this. They fully believe it is every Muslim's religious duty to fight until death to recover any land around the world that was ever occupied (peacefully or via murder) by Islam. Similar thinkers like them are operating around the world in places like Sudan, Somalia, Algeria, Gaza, Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt, Spain, India, Kashmir, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, to name only a few. What they all have in common is that they believe God wants them to kill human beings in order to recover lost Islamic lands (India, Kashmir, Spain, Israel, Sudan, etc). I am not making this up. Read their manifests for yourself.

Now, Hezbollah, the group operating out of Lebanon, holds elected seats in the Lebanese government. This means that Hezbollah -- God's Party -- is part of the Lebanese government. This means that the Lebanese parliament is partially responsible for Hezbollah's military invasion of Northern Israel when they attacked and kidnapped the Israeli soldier boys (in their teens), and also responsible for hezbollah missiles which killed 1 and injured hundreds of Israelis.

Any way you look at it, IT IS AN ACT OF WAR for one government to use armed fighters (Hezbollah -- God's Party) to attack a second country (Israel) within its own borders.

The story does not stop here, however. The Middle East is not North America. It is a place where tyrannical mindset dictates that democracy is the work of Satan, and teaches this concept to impoverished illiterate children. For example, Egyptian government owned TV ran an incredibly popular 40-hour series teaching that Jews drink human blood for religious duty. Less than half of Egyptians can read; they believed what they saw on TV. Another example, Palestinian TV broadcasts MTV style rock videos showing 12-year old boys riding new bicycles in heaven after killing Israelis and themselves in suicide bombings. I could go on and on with more examples, but you should do your own research. Point being, if you do not know these things, you in no way come close to understanding what a democratic, multi-cultural nation like Israel faces. Simply put, they are surrounded by people who openly say it's good to kill Jews wherever and whenever you find them (remember Daniel Pearl?).

Hezbollah is supported and funded by Iran's Islamic government. The head of Hezbollah -- God's Party -- has a large picture of Khomeni hanging behind his office desk. He takes orders directly from Iran. Further complicating the picture, Syria also supports Hezbollah, and as you may know, currently militarily & politically occupies Lebanon. Syria forces Lebanon to allow Hezbollah to control Southern Lebanon because Syria wants to keep pressure on Israel.

Iran and Syria are playing a high-stakes game at the moment. Iran is desperately trying to produce nukes before the West or Israel stops it. They make no secret of wanting an atomic bomb. Iran's current and prior presidents have both said that Israel should be wiped off the face of the map, and explained that it will take only one nuclear bomb to do this. These presidents also stated that the Arab world will easily absorb scattered losses when Israel fires nukes back.

Think carefully about what I have just written.

Israel has 40 nuclear bombs. What the Iran presidents have said is this: destroying Israel, killing all of the Jews there, is worth having 50 million Arabs killed in retaliation. Have you ever personally known a religious fanatic? I have. They are funny clowns, until they get into seats of power. Then they are just plain DANGEROUS.

Hamas and Hezbollah are both client armies of Iran. The timing of the attacks is no accident. Iran is trying to deflect attention from their nuclear ambitions hoping that they'll gain the few months needed to complete the manufacture. you don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand this. But it is complicated and takes a fair amount of background information. Hopes this has been helpful.
