I am in my high school jazz band as lead guitar, I do many solo's, but I NEED some kind of a good effect. what is good for Jazz
Note: I play among bassist drummers, sax's, and trumpets

Chours reverb compression not too much effects on jazz.

Don't Use effects, use a hollowbody guitar (like a Gibson ES-175) thru a really clean tube amp (like a Fender Twin Reverb). This'll get you a sweet clean tone for jazz. Maybe a small amount of reverb...
