i know, we've been through this before, but it's hard to think of just one. "see emily play" always comes to my mind first.

See Emily Play is grand. also, Arnold Lane, Paintbox, Biding My Time, Brain Damage/Eclipse, Careful With That Ax Eugene( i saw this intense performance of that. very very good), and. of course, since our major loss of Syd Barrett, Wish You Were Here and Shine on You crazy Diamond.

Alright,, Sugaree, you may not like my answer. I am a biggie Pink Floyd phan, all the way back to Saucerful of Secrets. However, the melody of the Division Bell is great (I know, no Sid (RIP) and no Roger, but the name of the song is 'Poles Apart' and here are the lyrics if your curious:

Poles Apart
David Gilmour, Samson, Laird-Clowes

Did you know...it was all going to go so wrong for you
And did you see it was all going to be so right for me
Why did we tell you then
You were always the golden boy then
And that you'd never lose that light in your eyes

Hey you...did you ever realize what you'd become
And did you see that it wasn't only me you were running from
Did you know all the time but it never bothered you anyway
Leading the blind while I stared out the steel in your eyes

The rain fell slow, down on all the roofs of uncertainty
I thought of you and the years and all the sadness fell away from me
And did you know...

I never thought that you'd lose that light in your eyes

Hey SugarFree, Though I don't tend to hang out naked by the phone nor have itchy feet and a fading smile. (This Cat likes to Smile) I like the song "HEY YOU". Though I'm pretty happy with any song you put on by them. Someone stole my Momentary Laps of Silence though....Bummer. Gotta put that on my wish list!
SmileyCat : )

Hey you out there in the cold
Getting lonely getting old
Can you feel me?
Hey you standing in the aisles
With itchy feet and fading smiles
Can you feel me?
Hey you dont help them to bury the light
Don't give in without a fight.

Hey you out there on your own
Sitting naked by the phone
Would you touch me?
Hey you with you ear against the wall
Waiting for someone to call out
Would you touch me?
Hey you, would you help me to carry the stone?
Open your heart, I'm coming home.

But it was only fantasy.
The wall was too high,
As you can see.
No matter how he tried,
He could not break free.
And the worms ate into his brain.

Hey you, standing in the road
always doing what you're told,
Can you help me?
Hey you, out there beyond the wall,
Breaking bottles in the hall,
Can you help me?
Hey you, don't tell me there's no hope at all
Together we stand, divided we fall.

[Click of TV being turned on]
"Well, only got an hour of daylight left. Better get started"
"Isnt it unsafe to travel at night?"
"It'll be a lot less safe to stay here. You're father's gunna pick up our trail before long"
"Can Loca ride?"
"Yeah, I can ride... Magaret, time to go! Maigret, thank you for everything"
"Goodbye Chenga"
"Goodbye miss ..."
"I'll be back"

Sharin' my smiles SugarFree...take care!

Comfortably Numb is one we can all relate to at some time in our lives but Learning to Fly is my favorite.

See Emily play? Pop goo. The style inspired the good songs but "Emily" is like the Beatles "I wanna hold your hand" just a song to get them started. (Sorry Sid... rip)

I really think that Time is my favorite Pink Floyd song...I love the guitar solo so much; it gives me tingles every time. I've listened to that song over and over and over but it hasn't lost any of its magic.
