I think that the best show since friends is gone is desperate housewives....but there are a lot of great shows out there

The only shows I consider great, were on YEARS ago. I love Gunsmoke, Little House On The Prairie, The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Father Knows Best,The Andy Griffith Show, All In The Family, Rhoda.......those days are really gone. Fortunately, many are on tvland. In fact....Little House will be on in 10 mins., followed by Andy. I am happy that I grew up in an era when television was new...some of the shows were LIVE. There was real talent back then.

I loved 90210! I cried when that show ended. The last episode was in 2000. I agree with you about friends, it was a very good show as well. I don't watch much t.v. anymore, so I don't know if there is anything good on. The only shows I like are Law and Order SVU, re runs of Becker, and re runs of The Dukes of Hazard.

I liked Seinfeld, Cheers, The Simpsons and Taxi...I am totally dating myself..but that is ok...most kids these days were not even alive when the Simpsons started...I am one of the proud that can say that I've seen several episodes from every season.
These days the only TV that even rivals TV back then is
My Name Is Earl, The Office, Family Guy, Everybody Loves Raymond and That 70s Show.
The best dad would be a mix betweenHomer (Simpsons), Peter griffin (FG) Red (70s show) Frank Costanza (Seinfeld) and Frank Barone (Raymond)...
wooohooo ...holy crap! that's frickin awesome! .....keep it up and your gonna find a foot in your a$$....You want a piece of me? You got it!

House, CSI, The Closer, Law and Order ... all great shows, but it's hard to replace a comedy like Friends.

I REALLY liked friends.
Not just because it was funny to the core but also because if you dwell deeper then you'd find most of the situations very close to real life and main characters too ordinary to believe that we are watching a tv serial.
For me its like never happened in past and never will ever happen again.......
