Getting tattooed is actually an ancient ritual started by
savage superstitious neandrethals who beleived that
after you died a spiritual beast would eat your soul if
you did not have tattoos in your former existence.
I have many tattoos and I am sure this creature wouldn't want
to touch me with a ten foot pole because from a distance I
look like a victim of the plague.
People...Take it from someone who has them...
Do not get tattoos.

Many cultures have used tattooing for centuries. In America until recently tattoos were not okay. Now so many people have them, they do not seem unusual. As I am writing this I am watching Entertainment tonight where they just showed a beautiful memorial tattoo on a first responder's arm who did it in memory of the lives that were lost on 911. I think that this is a beautiful way to remember these brave heroes. I am not a tattoo person but enjoy looking at the beautiful art others wear.

I work at a tattoo shop. I noticed a large increase in tattoo interest when those tattoo reality tv shows went on tv.
The problem isn't with people getting tattoos, its with people getting stupid tattoos.
They come in saying " hi, I want a tattoo, what should I get, can you pick something nice out for me?"
People have to think about it, and not just pick something off the wall.
Most people's biggest mistake is getting something too small. Small tattoos turn to mush in a few years and they look like an inky blob.
Fairy's are one thing that run into problems most likely. Many girls get fairy tattoos way to small, and they look great for 5 or 10 years, but after that they will look terrible because the faces are so detailed, and the line distance is not far enough apart. I've seen people come in with these old tattoos that look like smudged paintings.
People have to look for a good shop, and really know what they are getting into before they get one. They have to make sure that its clean, sterile and professional.
There is so many problems to consider before getting a perminant marking on your body. Do I have tattoos? Yes, many. But I know what to look out for.

Fashion!!
I see such pretty young ladies at the gym, and then they turn around and their back are all tattooed! I just think such a mess, a destruction of something once so beautiful!
We are going to have a bunch of old people with faded fairies!

its a personality trait. I my self have two and am considering a third one. I think one or two are fine but when someone goes haywired and gets them all over their body that's just way too much

because they can be very sexy if done right...as long as they're not like skulls and dragons all over your body. but a nice rose or butterfly on a girls shoulder is hot!!!
