First of all, you must calm down. I can tell that you are feeling anxious. I have also felt this way. I have lost virtually everyone that I have cared for, but God has a purpose for me and for YOU on his Earth. Therefore, I hope that you will have a cup of camomile tea and think about how important you are. There is a purpose for which you are here to fulfill. I read many new books, but I certainly don't downplay the old ones. I am now going through the Harvard Classics. This is a most intense undertaking. My most favorite website for books is www.amazon.com. I find old, new, rare and unusual books, cds, videos and just about everything of interest to me. I call the main library which is the Harold Washington Library here in Chicago, Illinois. There I speak with the librarian (usually over the telephone) and get her to look up and place on hold, books that I am interested in reading. This saves me loads of money. It also gives me the opportunity to disappear into the pages of something new to me. I am so relaxed when I take these realistic adventures. I also meet other cerebral people who are worthwhile additions in my life. I do exchange my e-mail with them. This is less confrontational and creates a space for more development of trust between people. The chat rooms and the like are not my cup of tea. I steer clear of those forms of communication. Know this, "God daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation." Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Above all that you do, remember this fact, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31. Peace and God Bless.

Well its just worse, not "worser". You should really lay off things like caffeine, catch some sleep. Maybe calm down a little bit and stop worrying...take a deep breathe, take things one at a time instead of ever thing head on. Go for a run or a walk..something that makes you feel good and take a break from your over thinking. if that doesn't work, really consider seeing a doctor because it can affect your life and your social life. Heart conditions can develope, even aneurysms.

I have suffered from anxiety; that is fear or uneasiness about the future. Mine began when my husband cheated on me and we separated; logical, eh? Explore your past by meditating, writing, talking, or looking at photos. See if you can pinpoint a cause. Maybe you can work on that. I found I couldn't sleep, was having panic attacks, and absolutely digging at my skin. I had to seek medical help, and took an antihystemine (like for itching) but I know others have to get prozac or something equivalent. Luckily that calmed me down enough to put the pieces of my life together and plan for a new future. Looking ahead is no longer scary. That's the key to relieving anxiety. Set goals and work toward them.

You are describing a panic/anxiety attack. This is not "just" anxiety. This is ANXIETY anxiety. There doesn't need to be a reason for the anxiety. Sometimes it just attacks. Hence the term.

There are short-term medications to help you over this and long-term medicines to help prevent them. It will be up to you and your doctor to decide what is best for you. Don't worry about taking medication for this. You're having a problem and you don't have to suffer. You can get help and get back in control.

Please call for help asap. If your doctor dismisses you, find another one. Call your local crisis line. Anything.

You do not have to feel like this.

Thats how it feels. Been there. It isn't going to go away. You need to find a way to handle it. Meds/ therapy/ self help. It can also be chemical. Talk to you doctor about BusPar, it is specifically for anxiety/ panic disorder and it works for most people. It takes awhile to build up and do its best though.
One thing you do have to try and get a hold of yourself about is the fact that it feels real, but it isn't. I know that doesn't make sense, but its true. It feels like you are dying but you wouldn't.
Try different things to calm yourself down. Take a cold shower/ or warm.........exercise.........scream...........anything, but believe me it will go away. I promise. But they will come back, thats why you need help controlling it. I know.

Yes, anxiety can do that. What you need to do is calm down. Lie down and relax all your muscles. Do some yoga or meditation. Don't do aerobic exercise for a while, but do gentle yoga and stretching. If it doesn't go away then go back to your doctor and ask what you can do about it.

See a psychiatrist (not a psychologist). Sounds like you may be clinically depressed plus you sound like you are having panic attacks. But no one here can diagnose you. Go see a psychiatrist NOW (do not put it off), as these things CAN permanently injure your health, both physically and mentally.
