If winnie the pooh was civilized enough to keep his honey in jars, why did he eat it off his hands? Surely he had spoons?

It's probably because he was soooo munchified from Eeyor feeding him whatever reefer or downers he is on, or smokin, Pooh didn't take the time to grab eating utensils, much less, actually care how the hell the honey got chowed down when he has such a big rumbly in his tummy! (Much love to Pooh and his gang)!!! hee hee!

I think the honey was given to him in jars by his more civilized friends! Besides nothing wrong with eaten honey off your hands.

He is a bear. Bears catch salmon in their paws and rip the head of with their teeth. It is Pooh's nature to be a little messy.

well he had to KEEP it in something..... couldn't keep it in his hands all day....
he didn't have any fingers, really, just these nubby mitten hands, so cut him a break, will ya?
besides, I think a spoon might slow him down..... and he was all about getting that hunny as fast as he could!
