Lots of the same things you did before you were pregnant will still be okay. (Unless you are confined to bedrest) I did some housekeeping, watched some TV, went for a long walk around the block, checked the mail, cooked dinner, then hung out with my husband.

First of all, being pregnant is not a sickness it is a state of being. You cab probably do just about everything you did before you were pregnant. hopefully you are keeping fit. Many places have classes....yoga, swimming, gentle exercise, etc. for expectant Moms. Walk every day ,take up a hobby, read books about parenting, learn to knit, sew crochet or quilt so that you can make something for your baby. Take a class in photography and learn scrapbooking so that you can make beautiful mementos and memories for your little one. Call your local and take a childbirth class and most important of all, learn CPR. Good luck and have fun. this is a wonderful time(once the sickness stops...Ha!!)

Cook from scratch with fresh vegtables, take a pregnancy exercise class, baby proof the house, read, make friends who are also pregnant, work on hobies, get a baby room ready, do things you cannot do with a baby around, work ahead on projects you will be too busy for when the baby comes. Spend time with family and friends, get re connected with your religious afiliation. Re organzie the house and get rid of old things. Donate and discard things you are not using. Spend special time with other kids, rest, go to doctors apointments, stock up on baby supplies, order free babie stuff on the net. Print out free baby info on the net and make a binder, find a book on important baby info in case you have questions on health issues, make an important list of emergency phone numers and post it, pick out a pediatrician for the baby if you do not have one for other kids, get a car seat, purchase a stroller, purchase a safe place for baby to sleep initially. Purchase all supplies needed for a new born. Other stuff can be purchased later. Pick yellow and green neutral colors for a boy or girl. If you design room can do in a neutral theme non gender related.

I loved doing cross-stich. I bought a wonderful baby blanket kit, while pregnant with my third. It was time-consuming and relaxing. I finished it just before my son was born. It was wonderful to wrap him in it for the ride home from the hospital.

enjoy the time...soon it will be all about baby. take a bath and read, if you add baby oil to the water it can prevent stretch marks. also i had some parenting web sites that send you weekly baby updates in your e-mail that tell you the new things your little fetus is doing they are free and a great way to pass the time. Americanbaby.com and babycenter.com are great and they include free magazine subscriptions. i still get them and my son is 5 months old

Read parenting books, birthing books, do prenatal workouts. Prepare the baby's room and baby book. You could make a scrapbook of your pregnancy if you have enough time for that.
