Does anyone still think these things can be fixed without a world war?

In the case of Venezuela they have openly interfered in every election that has taken place in South & Central America since Chavez has come to power trying to put together an anti-american coalition,he has formed partnerships with Cuba and North Korea, does it take a great leap of logic to see weapons technology specifically nuclear being transfered?
Why do we need to sit back and watch as something becomes a nightmare before acting?

I don't know why Venezuela is compared to dictatorships. Even worst regarded as a terrorist country. I think most people who think that Venezuela is a dictatorship and a terrorist state should review their sources. Venezuela is a free country and its president was democraticaly elected by the Venezuelan people. Whether Chavez is doing the right thing or not, that a different ball game.
Just because he is opinionated about the US President that does not mean that he is a terrorist. Actually, he is friends with the American people. See the following articles:

No I don't. I wish they could. But if you look at the root of all of this madness, it is that the clash of ideals and morals cannot co-exist on the planet. The dark side, the face of communism and repressive dictatorships seeks to spread communism through whatever means including state sponsored terrorism. The other side, democracy's who are not trying to force our ideals onto the rest of the world will have to eventually confront the encroachment upon our own borders. Hopefully the problem will be solved before then.

Definitely. But I'm not all too sure what's going on in Venezuela though; this is the first time I've heard of a problem there.

Why does Venezuela need "fixing"? Their government was elected by the people, and is soverign. Just because they don't agree with the US administration's viewpoint, doesn't mean they automatically need "fixing".
