I think you greatly misunderstand us. We actually happen to support the Constitution. The liberties of the Constitution extend to American citizens only and thus, the Patriot act. It is only the left that would ever consider taking away our arms.

I don't think it has anything to do with a "blossoming authoritarian government". We, the people, are very willing in the days of the war on terror to give up all kinds of freedom in the name of protection. If we think it will stop the so called terrorists then we're very liable to do as we're told. It's not that the government is being authoritarian, it's that the sheepish folks under rule are so willing to let things happen that way.
If they came around tomorrow and told you that by giving up your right to bear you'd help with the protection of the country from terrorists, a lot of people would do it. What we need to be asking is who really are the terrorists?

i hate to sound like a redneck...but they wont get mine without a fight. it doesnt matter anyway i guess. ever heard of "operation garden plot" or the 800+ concentration camps FEMA has already built in this country and plans on the books to control a major uprising using UN troops? yes its coming sooner or later and i plan on resisting all that i can if its at all possible...maybe i die or maybe i live with it...depends on if i think i can make a difference at the time.
