Here's an answer that I answered a little while ago...This girl was getting a tattoo on her hip, but it still applies to your situation, when you body expands, and you get stretch marks, your skin will do whatever it pleases unfortunately..........................
Stretch marks will destroy a tattoo. There is no way to prevent stretch marks, and your body will expand however it wants to when you get pregnant.
I work in a tattoo shop and I've seen many tattoos destroyed by stretch marks. Many look pretty bad. Sometimes, the tattoo can be fixed, sometimes not.
I've also seen some hip tattoos post-pregnancy that have shrunk back to normal and look perfect with no stretch marks.
With hip and stomach tattoos its a risk you have to take.
If you get a tattoo over stretch marks, that's possible most of the time. But once the skin underneath the tattoo is ruined, it cant be fixed on top.
I found you some pics below of some tattoos that were messed up through being stretched by pregnancy. You can't see the before pictures, but I'm sure that the outlines before were clean lines, and you can see the skin and how damaged it is, and the amount of scar tissue. I would imagine both those tattoos would feel very bumpy.
Good luck!

I had a friend that was pregnant and had a tattoo on her belly. Hers was her fathers inititals, it stretched, but the cool thing was the last of it kind of turned into a heart. Yours will stretch, if yours goes back to normal (which my tattoo artist says not likely) or if it'll leave something cool looking.

yes, that is why I am not getting any tattoos until after I'm done having kids. My friend has one on her ankle and she swelled alot when she was pregnant, now the tat looks like horrible.
