-using a small 'e' is wrong as it can be mistaken for the constant
-why are people spelling out 'times' and 'power'? words are not part of scientific notation

the first number cant be bigger than 10 so u use 1.2 and move the decimal point over til u get the 1,200,000,000 which is 9

i don't know the scientific notation but in words it is
one million two hundred thousand.

i am lucky to be able to turn on a scientific calculator, more or less make it do some kind of function.

i will say a scientific calculator make a great calculator for grocery shopping since it has memory and you don't loose your total like regular calculators.
