No, it will not be ten. It will be way more than ten and I will do the math in a moment. Soda is actually one of the cheapest things a restaurant can sell and it is also the most profitable one. Companies like McDonald's and Burger King get soda literally dirt cheap.
It costs them 5 cents a gallon.
So if you pay $2.00 for a 48oz. cup, you would have to fill it up 107 times to actually get $2.00 worth of soda. And this will still only break even. In order to make them loose money, you would have to get even more. Not to mention what drinking 40 gallons of soda will do to your body. You will be dead loooooooooong before you finish if you try to drink that much soda continuously because cells in your body won't have enough time to replace all the carbon dioxide with oxygen.
There is a reason why places like Taco Bell have a policy that if you aren't offered a beverage at the register, your order will be free.
Note: The 5 cents per gallon price includes all the other costs to the company. Even if it didn't and lets say that the actual cost was 10 cents per gallon (doubling it, including, shipping and stuff), you have to refill more than 50 times.

Soda costs about 5 cents a gallon to make... but that doesn't include costs such as warehousing, transport, advertising, or pretty much any other business overhead. I guess the actual cost would be variable dependent on the exact moment you bought it. Only the soda company would be able to tell you the profit margin from a soda on any given day. What it means is, how much liquid would one need to consume in order to make the profit decrease to the point of zero.

The price you think one glass is worth =x. The price you paid =y. When the total of all the x's are equal to the price of y you have your own personal moneys worth.

It really depends on how much value you put on your dollar and how sick you want to get drinking it. Soda really isn't especially good for you. Not least of all because of its high carbon dioxide content and its high acidity which will erode the enamel on your teeth fairly effectively if it's too highly concentrated (well, if we're meaning colas, as opposed to soda which is usually just flavored water with carbonation and not quite AS BAD as colas).
Note: concentrated cola mix is transported in tanker trucks that must have "hazardous material" stickers all over them due to their high acidity and corrosive properties. You sure you want to put that junk into your body? It make a pretty effective toilet bowl cleaner, dissolving all the caked on grime...
Seriously though. At most quick-e-mart type places they'll sell you a 64 oz+ trough of cola for like a buck and a half. Consider that it's almost half a gallon of soda. Does anyone really need to consume HALF A GALLON of soda in one sitting? Do you know how much sugar that puts into your system? And people wonder why we're turning into such a FAT nation with such a high incidence of diabetes. Consumption of WAY too much refined sugar which gets dumped directly into the blood stream via drinks is partly to blame, coupled with a fairly sedentary lifestyle. The body can't cope with that much sugar in the system, the insulin producers get overwhelmed and damaged if this happens on too regular a basis. Excess sugar is either converted into fat, or peed out (diabetes is literally a peeing disease because the body has too much sugar floating around that it can't get rid of and has to pee it out; only, the kidneys aren't designed to eliminate that high a volume of sugar [they prefer water with a little bit of salt, otherwise known as saline], so it has to eliminate water too in order to push all the sugar through the system, which leads to dehydration and possibly damage to the body). Diabetics often suffer from and die of kidney issues due to over excretion of sugar via the kidneys. That and obesity, which leads to other problems.
So, I guess my advice is not to "stick it to the man" and gorge on cheap sugar, but to instead drink responsibly and in moderation, up to maybe 16 Oz at a time? Most small to medium cups will be about 8-16 Oz of fluid.
You don't really "need" more than that in a sitting. And water is best, without sugar, or at least not much sugar. If you really need extra liquids, maybe do one cup of soda and one of just regular water, that way if you really have to pee afterward, at least you'll have enough water in your system that it can eliminate the extra sugars without too much problem (just don't overload your kidneys on a regular basis, it'll catch up with you eventually; if your kidneys fail you'll have to go to dialysis tyhe rest of your life, but that's not likely unless you really send yourself into diabetes over a long time period). If you start feeling a "fullness" or a "pressure" in or behind your kidneys (above and behind your hips, kind of toward your lower back) it probably means they're gettign overloaded trying to eliminate something like salts or sugars that yo have too much of in your system. Yuo generally won't get that from just eliminating water and a tiny bit of sodium (salt) unless you REALLY hold it for like hours on end.
Just FYI. Maybe not quite the answer you were expecting. Just useful info. And soda costs very little to produce and is where fast food restaurants recoup much of the money (profit margin) they lose on the production of those $1 burgers they sell. So for your health and the economy's health don't abuse the "free refill" policy. I figure if you're still thirsty after one cup and a meal, one more probably won't hurt (assuming we're talking the small cups, seriously the biggie size and the supersize [1/2 gallon of soda] drinks are enough for a horse)...
