I have had my missed period, i only bled for less than a day and it was all brown. Last time I was pregnant I tested and it came back neg. I took a blood test a week later and I was 6 weeks along! I have the sore boobs, tiredness, and missed period. Should I test again? I would take a blood test, but I am a college student with no money and a minimum wage job. should I wait another week and retest? I think I would be about 4 weeks, is that still too early?

If there's a Dollar Tree in your area, try picking up a pregnancy test there. They're cheap, and still accurate. The home tests are often more sensitive than the ones used in the office, so testing at home might be best. I think the office tests often have a sensitivity of 50miU (or whatever the unit is) and many home tests have a sensitivity of 20-25miU. In this case, the lower the number, the more sensitive. I think Dollar Tree tests are 25-30miU or something.

Technically you should be able to get a positive on the first day of your missed period. I suggest going to a nearby planned parenthood. If you are making minimum wage bring in your last paycheck stub you should be able to get a test for free.
