Background checks are big business and don't do this for free. Usually, the free sites will direct you to a charge service for any info.
You can buy programs that do background checks. They range from $19.95(useless) to several thousands. Generally, programs priced in the $100 - $300 range will provide you with the most info for the price.
Intellus is a very reputable site with reasonable prices for the info you get. They tell you up front what you get for the price listed.
