Whenever I put eyeliner on the bottom lid, it looks like I have huge puppy dog eyes. I only apply a thin line right along the lash line!! Don't tell me to stop wearing it!! I want tips on how to make my eyes appear smaller and not so big and OPEN!! Thanx! =)

Whats wrong with black. Try lining the inner rim of you eye. Then smudge I have giant eyes so I do this to make them smaller. Oh yeah I don't use liquid cause I always end up looking like this pic of Lindsay. Smokey eyes always make my eyes look smaller.

Use brown (not black as it makes your eyes stand out more) and put a soft line UNDER your lashes. Some people line the inner bottom of the eye but that makes them look bigger. A eyeliner pencil works best because you can smudge it just a bit for a softer look.

Generally folks wear eyeliner to make their eyes BIGGER not smaller...unless you're doing it wrong. The best way to flawlessly apply liner is to first apply some powder around the eye. (Helps with shaping after.) Apply the liner thinly and then shape with your finger or an eyeshadow brush. Using foundation and/or powder under your liner/shadows helps keep the color in place for longer. You can also finish with a little translucent power on top to set. Don't use the liner on the full bottom lid. Use a dark brown liner on only half the the lower lid with a thin line. than use a powder the same color of ur skin on the lower lid. Top that off with a rosy pink shadow on your top lid and wa-la, Beautimous!

Try using a neutral color such as brown. Avoid using black or dramatic colors as this tends to make the eyes look larger. Also, you are correct in drawing a thin line.

Your supposed to put it on the lower inner lid!! Not, on the eyelash line...and use PENCIL eyeliner for that to avoid ink in your eyes.

seriously eye liner is made for the sole purpose of enhancing and bringing out eyes. if you dont want attention brought to them and dont want them to look enhanced, dont wear it, sorry its not what you want to hear. or wear a light brown color, that would be better, cause id bet you are wearing a dark color like black.

go with a couple a n eye shadow a couple of shades lighter the the liner. apply with a short bristle brush. if you eyes are small try a variation of your eye shadow. for day just use masc.

Try putting it on the inside part, it makes it look nicer, or fan it out to side a bit and connect them ,thats what i do
