Well it again depends on your school's dress code. But most high schools are a little more "easy" on short shorts. My high school isn't very strict. My advise, don't wear said shorts to school first day, they will go over it with you.

I don't wear REALLY short shorts, mine are like mid thigh. Our school has a rule against really short shorts. Technically we're only allowed to wear bermuda shorts (just above the knee) but hardly anyone sticks to that rule

Um personally no, because its to me skanky and its not allowed in our school, but only like booty shorts are skanky, i mean short skirts and shorts are okay, i like em, but not when your a** is hanging out.

Strangely and inexplicably, no. I mean, it's not horrible if you do or anything, girls just tend... not to. Most wear skirts when it's hot.
