Men are trained (ruined) by societal biases at an early age. It just dosen't make sense that skinny girls are the thing to have, but here we are. As men get older, if they are able to build themselves into a whole person by achieving life's daily successes, they will reach a place where the physical-beauty question will finally be an honest, individual reaction. At that point some men may like skinny, some may like curvey. And they will say f*** E-Entertainment. I am happy!

I think when men get older (and I mean older as in out of high school and looking for a real relationship) their priorities change and finding a supermodel to hang on their arm is not as important as finding a woman who can hold an intelligent conversation, has a good sense a humor, and that may want children. At least the ones that are not superficial.
I think men are by nature attracted to the curvier women when they are looking for someone to have children. I am not saying a woman the size of a whale, just a woman with some meat.

Sort of. Mostly, what they do is widen (sorry!) their scope to recognize the fact that they are not as attractive to younger women themselves. So the slim young things that are the stuff of dreams when they are young, mostly because that's what they see in mass media, give way to a more mature figure on a woman who is responsive to their needs. It's not so much an age thing as a reality factor, which some men learn early and others late. Face it; those model and actress types have their pick, and if a guy is not handsome AND rich, he hasn't got much chance with them, barring some sort of fantastical luck.

I'm a little older now, but when I was younger I didn't want a super skinny woman. She has to have some curves, a figure. Super skinny women have no breasts (at least real ones, that I like) and no butt. A woman too skinny is like crawling into bed with a tree limb, knobs sticking out everywhere. I like mine soft.
