I'm from hawaii, a little island in the middle of the ocean. We're like you exept a lot smaller. If we are so alike, why do you have hundreds of poisonious snakes, and we don't have any snakes at all?

Snakes aren't in the habit of swimming thousands of miles across the ocean to islands. And people aren't allowed to import snakes into Hawaii.

Becayse hawaii is f***ing insane, and because I am pretty sure that because it is in the middle of the ocean, snakes could not cross over from other countries to hawaii. You are damn lucky

Hawaii consists of several little islands in the Pacific Ocean, not one.

Being in the middle of absolutely nowhere, your flora and fauna developed by either wind-borne migration or water-borne migration.

Since snakes are not known to stowaway on ship, despite the number of visitors your islands have received, their did not have unwanted visitors like that (rats are another matter)
