It would depend a lot on the environment that the aliens came from.
If their environment was different, they'd have much different features evolved to cope with the unique challenges of those environments. It is very interesting to think about the potential habitats for alien life, and then think about the types of organisms that would be successful in those environments.
If they evolved in an environment that was very similar to Earth, they might have some similar adaptations. This concept is called parallel evolution, and explains why creatures like dolphins and sharks have some similar features (dorsal fins, for example) despite the fact that they are not closely related. Even so, it seems that while they might have some morphological similarities it seems likely that they'd still have many other differences as well, and their biochemistry would likely be very different. Since we haven't encountered alien life yet, we don't even know whether DNA/RNA is something that would evolve elsewhere the same as it did here.

Like Angels and Demons. Are not "angels" and "demons" considered to be "aliens" (?)...because they truly exist yet are not "of this world". I'm sure this isn't the answer you're looking for...but thought I'd simply throw that one in for your thoughts and consideration when you haven't got other things to think about. As far as "other" materialistic created extraterrestrials (not of the Earth), I am highly doubtful. The Bible speaks about other "powers and principalities" in the heavens (the Universe), but I personally believe that these are spiritual in nature, rather than material or of another kind of "flesh". It is however, probable. And if there are, they would more likely than not be quite simular to us...who were "created in the image of God". You presented an excellent question which I'll have to give myself more time to consider. I am a Christian...but twice in my life I have been literally "terrorized" by a sudden demon "manifestation"...which would disappear as quickly as it would appear. And that's fine by me, because their (or its) sudden appearance was a truly terrorizing experience which has a tendancy to linger for a number of days.

Because life has to adapt to the enviorment to survive, and 95% of all planets or something like that are estimated to be Hot Jupiturs, I think that life would be mainly microscopic organisms, pathogens, and bacteria. I am very doubtful we will find any of that, since intelegent life is almost non-existant in the universe from all the hot Jupiturs there are, and the sole "icy earth" that we have found 9000 light years away.

I don't really know. The 'Greys' are a popular description of alien incounters, big eyes, large, oval heads, but I suppose they could look like anything. They could be energy for all I know.
But I do believe that there is some other intelligent life out there...somewhere. It's hard to believe that out of the millions of billions of galaxies, we're the only ones. That would be sad.

Regardless of their appearance, our bigger concern would be what they plan to do here. Have they traveled billions of light years to avoid a sick and dying planet of their own? Is their superior intelligence a threat or a blessing for planet Earth? I think they'll look like little green, wrinkled-up old men, kept alive for eons as their spacecraft transversed the universe. Science might keep them alive, but the aging process would go on. So, by the time they get here, they'll look like wrinkled-up, green, ugly old men with halitosis and a peculiar body odor. -RKO-

They will probably look like we do except maybe their skin will be green and they will have scales. They will probably have two eyes but their hands may have 4 or 6 fingers. They will probably be stronger than us physically but not as crafty.
