The closest you could get to is Oak Park on the Metra and then you would have to take a cab. It wouldnt be that far after that though. The Brookfield Zoo is kinda in the middle of nothing and if you could find anyway I would reccomend trying to get a ride from someone to go with you.

You'll need to take the South Shore line into Chicago at the Randolph Street Station.

Walk 0.1 mile NW from RANDOLPH ST METRA to MICHIGAN & BETWEEN LAKE & RANDOLPH

Take CTA BUS # 151 SHERIDAN SOUTHBOUND
Depart: MICHIGAN & BETWEEN LAKE & RANDOLPH
Arrive: CANAL & BETWEEN JACKSON & ADAMS
14 minute ride ($2)

Take METRA BURLINGTON NORTHERN SANTA FE LINE
Depart: UNION STATION
Arrive: BROOKFIELD METRA
27 minute ride ($3.05)
