NYU 's Tisch School of the Arts is probably the best acting school this country has to offer. If you play your cards right there, you could make some solid connections and end up in show biz. As far as the west coast, USC.

Juilliard has a good program. Carnage Melon also has a good rep. If you are in High School there are some arts boarding schools around the country that might be worth looking into.
