Yes, there is.
Do you feel like someone is always watching you?
Do you feel like you are on a stage, and the whole world is your own private audience?
Do you think in terms of always being caught in the act?
Do you make sure the curtains in your room are tatally shut before dressing for the day?
Do you think that the people upstairs are watching you?
What if the answer to all these questions and more was yes?
Well I will tell you what.
This simply means that you are constantly putting yourself in situations that you yourself would view as "voyeuristically entertaining".
More than likely YOU are the one that does all the watching.
Maybe you haven't lived enough.
Maybe you haven't experienced the many unending possibilities that life has in store for you.
Maybe all the things that you feel so watched at doing are just the little ways you dramatize your life so it feels less ordinary.
Maybe all you need is to shift your "pardigm" a little every now and then.
Think about things less...and do things more.
You will be surprised how ordinary and even relaxing it can be be to just "do".
I am a little on the paranoid side myself...and I do find comfort in the fact that that anything can and will happen...that I am not in control.
Being "in" the moment is better than viewing it from a distance.
You will come to know the difference through participation.
Participation in any of lifes myriad activities is the key to comfort that soothes our soul.
Without interaction we become increasingly paranoid.
Paranoi is the burden of those that do not interact...a penance if you will. It is what keeps us from developing into the person we see ourselves as fully becoming.
When you start "doing" you will leave this old comforting "couch".
Then you will know that you are not alone...you are just one of billions with the same thoughts and passions that inhabit this crazy world.

If you are aware that it is paranoia, how paranoid can you actually be? Or maybe you are thinking they really ARE after you?

As long as you don't have real enemies, paranoia can be fairly enjoyable

We all can laugh at ourselves at times. Can't we? Being paranoid can be pretty funny when you think about it.
