I'm black and i think if we stop supporting certain rap artist that constantly portray us as purse snatchers it would make a dent but not alleviate the problem and to Jesse
you should know that there are more whites in prison than blacks
but that would require you to do some research instead of making a comment based on hear say and t.v

Because they've been robbed before by a black person, i don't know. I think you black guys over rate the whole situation. If a womans purse moves a little while your walking beside her, then you will automatically think it was her moving her purse away from you. You either are insecure or you have a guilty consience. I live in a alll black neighborhood, and i can't even go walk down my sidewalk because all the black girls started talking crap just b ecause im white whats up with that?? I've never said anything to them. I think it goes both ways just way too many black people use it than white people. Well i know thats the way it works in my case. Exp. if a white person without and id. tries to buy cigs. and the black clerk refuses to sale, the white kid is just going to walk home and try again later. If a black person does the same while the clerk is white, he is more likely to cry discrimination on the clerk . You don't know until you've been in my shoes but lots of black people do not like white people and they always run their mouth at a beautiful white girl living in their neighborhood, even if she's married.

Honestly, I don't grab mine. When I see a black guy (rarely, in Brisbane Australia, I'm pretty deprived here), I tend to have a good perve and couldn't care less about my bag and am not worried in the slightest about any person of any colour taking it. So you'd have to be more worried that I'd be checking you out or want to talk to you to see if you had an accent etc, rather then me grabbing my purse - that would be the last thing on my mind.
