ipod troubles?

i just got an ipod radio remote, i put it into my ipod, and the directions say to go to music, then radio, and when i did so "radio" wasn't there. the radio remote plays the radio right? i dont have to buy anything seperatly?

i looked everywhere, on the main menu, and radio doesnt come up anywhere

No, you don't have to buy anything separately!! I have one, and when you connect the radio, "Radio" appears on the iPod menu! Not in music!
