gerald wallace ....he's a very talented and exciting player...his athleticism is off the charts...he's only the 3rd player in nba history to average 2 blocks and 2 steals in a season...and for a swingman he can really block shots...he is also a superior finisher...and dunks with ease each night...but even though he has all these accomplishments...it seems very few people know him...casual fans dont even know his name...so let this be a warning to all of you...next season will be the year of gerald wallace...projected stats for 2007 ...17 ppg 8 rebs 2.5 stls and 2.4 blocks per game....take notice and pls vote for him in the all star ballots if y'all think he's good...

Andrei Kirilenko of the Utah Jazz. He can do everything and i think he is the most complete/ all around player in the entire NBA. He is definately the most underrated player in the NBA right now.

Ray Allen. Everyone says he's just like Michael Redd and all he does is shoot. In fact, he's up among the top tier of two guards with Kobe, Wade and Pierce. He might be a notch below the first two, but he's a star. The guy's got handles, is fearless taking it to the rim, has hops, can find open guys, is tough as nails, can score in traffic, and though defense might be his weakness, he's not the worst defender in the world.
The problem is he's always played for small market teams in Milwaukee and Seattle.

Without a doubt THE most underrated player in the NBA has got to be the Indiana Pacer's Jermaine O'Neal....I dont Like the Pacers...in fact i hate them because(from a distance) it looks like they copied the Lakers kit but Jermaine is one hell of a player on offense, 20.1 ppg, 2.6 apg, 2.0 off rpg and seriously forgotten on defense, 7.3 def rpg, .53 spg, 2.29 bpg!!! He single handedly led the struggling pacers to the playoffs last year and were unfortunately but not disgracefully knocked out by the nets in the 1st round. He is a bigtime all round performer but for some reason never has him name mentioned as much as guys who can only throw up one stat...

He is so underrated that no1 mentioned him in their answer. He is a great player. As soon as he was traded to the Magic they started to look like a playoff team and despite their horrible record they had in the first half of the season they were three wins from the playoffs in the end..

pg - Kirk Hinrich, Brevin Knight, Jameer Nelson, T.J. Ford
sg - Jason Richardson, Ricky Davis (he's not great player, but he score points for a team),
sf - Josh Howard (before the playoffs), Tayshaun Prince (before the playoffs), Al Harrington, Charlie Villaneuva
pf - Chris Bosh, Emeka Okafor, Channing Frye
c - Brad Miller (he's about the 3rd or 4th best center in the league, behind Shaq and Yao, he's an all-star caliber center), ZaZa Pachulia (not the greatest center in the world, but good for teams who already have other pieces.)

Andrei Kirilenko.
You will not hear his name mentioned with the best players in the league, but he is a poor man's Ben Wallace with a better offensive game.
He averaged 15 points, 8 boards, 4.3 assists, and most impressively 3.2 blocks a game (2nd in the league).
