That's really funny... espesally if ur Mexican. Everyone on 50 de mayo would be like yahh! lol. Or if your ordering a drink " give me a tequilla" she's gonna be so confussed. People can also make fun of her b/c of that name and make jokes about it, but i think most people would think it's a cool name. I know i do. It's original, sexy, and hot. The only problem is that it might give the child the messege that that drinking is ok, and if your one of those parents that care about those things, then maybe you should reconsider another name.

Personally I think the trend for strange names has gone too far. I have a "different" name and endured much teasing and jokes as a child and teen and young adult. Still at almost 40 I am constantly explaining how to pronounce my name and spell it and explain its origion and I'm sick of it. Do your kids a favor and give them a "normal" name with a "normal" spelling!

If your child is going to school w/ Apple, Moses, Cocoa, Kalil or Piolet Inspektor, she'll fit right in.......otherwise... for your child's sake, pick another name. There are so many great, unique names out there.

Yeah it looks too much like Tequila and I wouldn't name anyone after alcohol unless it was Sherry or Brandy.
