Excellent movie. I like the Alberta scenery. very beautiful!
It told a story that as always been but no one dared say anything about. There have always been gay cowboys and its always been that way. Now if they come up with the truth about what happens in the army then that would open eyes too!

Actually it was good acting, especially by Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams-definite deserved the Oscar nods.
However, did not understand the connection between the two as the movie made the relationship to be aggressive and rough, so what was the attraction, if there were sensitive moments they showed them rarely. I would say see it, beautiful scenery , great acting, Heath can act, but the story was so-so and annoyed by Jake G. and I really enjoyed his other flicks.

For all of the hype it caused, I didn't think it was a particularly spectacular love story. It was just one more story of men cheating on their wives, except this time it was with each other. I also didn't like the fact that the movie was supposed to be about gay people, but the producers managed to sneak in plenty of female nakedness anyway.

I liked it. The love story was so sad -- these two people whose lives were sorta ruined because they couldn't be together. But I saw it at the peak of the hype, so it suffered from heightened expectations. Seeing on DVD now is probably going to be an even better experience.

It was a beautiful movie,the scenery was gorgeous,its about time that love between same sex partners was shown,not just sex.I think everyone did an excellant job on this movie including Anne Hathaway,Ang Lee is great,see the Ice Storm.

You might be disappointed by the ending, however picture is nice and actors play with good sensitivity.
I do not know if I would see it again, bit too long for what is in it for me.

It was alright. If you took away the fact that the love story was about 2 gay cowboys, it's just your standard, run of the mill we-can't-be-together love story.

I thought it was sad. It was a good movie, although honestly, the sex scenes made me uncomfortable. Not saying that to be mean, either.

You have to wach it! It shows how wrong your life can go if you dont follow your heart and your instinct!It taught me a big lesson.
