For that, an inner complicated force is optimal. Your exterior force must be constrained to USB speeds. Externals like that are large for storing song, pictures and video, yet video games have too a lot documents to run from an exterior with a lot achievement, except that's an older recreation with constrained pictures. setting up a secondary inner complicated force is ordinary. you'll want to be sure in the adventure that your computer makes use of SATA or IDE drives to make efficient you purchase the right sort.

They do sell external hard drive cases, which will connect to computers via USB cables, thus functioning as a complete external HD...
Standby for linkage:
The cable functions without a case... just a direct plug in. May or may not be appropriate for you, if you don't care about looks as much as you care about function. For me, a $10 cable is preferable to blowing $50 just for a pretty looking case.

Yes you can. There are many out there. However, note that some of them, espacially the older ones, may have harddrive size limitation, and some bad ones may have bad controllers, which could corrupt your harddrive in the enclosure.
I personally recommand the brand Vantec. I am using one, and it's quite pretty. You can get it at local Fry's, or online (like Newegg).

Yes, both for 3.5" and 2.5" hard drives. They're great. Only cost about $20.
