This website will give you insight on all of the hotels so you can make your choice.
A lot of people have been listing expensive hotels, but if you're going to Vegas, you may want to spend time IN Vegas, rather than your hotel. If this is the case, try a less expensive hotel...the Sahara is very nice, still on the strip and the staff has always been wonderful everytime I've stayed there. My best friend got married there and we all stayed at the Sahara...every one of us went back at some point and stayed there again. Not one of us had a problem.
On a side note...the "Orleans" hotel has a wonderful buffet that isn't too terribly expensive, especially if you go in the afternoon. If you want something a bit more on the high end...the MGM has amazing food at their buffet.
Have a wonderful time!!! Congratulations!!! Oh, don't forget to check what documentation you need to get your marriage license.

My wife and I just came back from Vegas on Tuesday night. We went out there to get married. Got married on Sunday afternoon. We stayed at the Luxor. True, it's at the south end of the strip but it's convient to the airport so you don't have to go thru the Las Vegas Blvd. traffic. But Luxor was a good place to stay. Great food. The bad thing I have to say is that since the hotel is completely open and the exterior walls are nothing but glass, your room A/C will have a tough time keeping up with the heat. But if you are looking to get married there, I definitely recommend the Chapel at the Luxor. Traditionally, you think of Vegas weddings as cheap and cheesy. Not the Luxor. It was very classy and tasteful. The photographs and video taken are top notch. If you get the choice, request that Fernando takes your pictures (he's kind of strange but does an excellent job), and Michael does your ceremony (he's an actual minister, not a JoP that usually does it). Check out the pics from the wedding and the ones we shot (which pale in comparison) at photos.yahoo.com/sbmcghee7

I recommend Caesers Palace and ask for one of the new tower rooms. We stayed in one last year and it was a great room, very large with a sofa and chair and cocktail table. The bath was huge also and had a full sized jacuzzi tub. The pool areas there are very nice. At that location you will be close to all of the things that you want to see in other hotels and casinos.
I have stayed at a bunch of hotels in Vegas including Bellagios, Mandalay Bay, Rio, Flamingo and Ballys. If I was doing my wedding, I would do it at Caesers. I though Bellagios was overpriced, nice but still too much. Mandalay Bay is real nice too but its all the way at the end of the Strip.

If you aren't worried about money, then stay at the Bellagio - it's absolutely gorgeous and the service is amazing. For something very nice but a bit cheaper you might try the Venetian or Paris Las Vegas.

My friend got married 3 years ago yesterday at the Excalibur because he wanted his wife to be a princess and get married in a castle. They had a great experience and the hotel staff was wonderful.

Paris......my son & his wife honeymooned there 4 yrs ago and they said it was awesome. They had what looked like a regular piece of furniture at the foot of the bed, and when they pushed a button, the TV rose up out of it! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
