Run or take a brisk walk, or anything that will tire you out.

Take deep slow breaths and tell yourself stories that will calm you down ("He doesn't realize he's being rude" "She's just having a bad day" -- stuff like that).

Try to take the other person's point of view.

There are books that could give you more.
