Quote from George W. Bush.
“Stop throwing the Constitution in my face,” Bush screamed back. “It’s just a goddamned piece of paper!”

Random Avera...- Three republican congressional leaders confirmed it. I doubt that's a biased source. Why would republican's in congress lie about "their" president?

Lets see....
"but....but....Clinton!".... check
"I'm skeered of terrorist, please take my rights away"....check
"you're a socialist".....check
"He didn't say it" (it wasn't on Fox "News", so he couldn't have).....check
Pretty much the standard Bush-bot response.
Kudos to Ethan M. Bad form on the name calling, but still, at least you stuck to your beliefs, and not congratulate chimpy for being so astute.

Yeah, don't believe every thing you read buddy. Hey I heard that Elvis is running for Pres, so maybe you can work on his campaign. Look at your biased source, it's a left wing web site. Of course they are going to say that he said those things cause they hate him.
I'm sure that it was taken completely out of context. The republicans said those things cause they want to get voted in again and Bush is not popular now. I'm not a full fledged Bush supporter either but I am just trying to be objective about it. When Clinton was in I read all kinds of stuff that I thought was BS. It's just politics and a smear campaign. Why would a President say that? If he did I'm sure it was taken out of context.

Well, after reading the constitution many times, it's easy to believe Bush did say that. It is incredible really that so many Republicans display very clearly that they do not know what is in the constitution by their words and actions. If you never read it and don't know what's in it, you might think its just a piece of paper. They think that no one else knows what's in it either, so they can claim it says or doesn't say just about anything and get away with it with the gullible sheep that follow them and don't ever raise a question.

I really love how each President is bashed while in office, everyone b*tches about them, and makes fun of them. Then once the next guy comes into office the previous President was the best thing since apple pie. Even Reagan our beloved, cherished, selling weapons to Iran, President was dogged during office too. Gods rest his soul. But hey! Democrats are so much better. Look at "I didn't inhale", celibate President Clinton. Wasn't he a prize. What did he accomplish in office anyway? Oh, I remember...oral sex.

Ethan_M has finally taken the chill pill. Can he now confirm he will be voting for a party that respects and supports the Constitution? I have always said that man (Bush) is a Cretin, he took an oath to uphold the constitution of the USA. Damn, when is he gonna go? He should be impeached now.

If this happened, which I doubt, I would say he was out of line and flat wrong. My loyalty lies with the Constitution not with the man. There I said President Bush is wrong is that what you wanted? Do you feel better? I still think you are little socialist piglet.

These are simply allegations by Doug Thompson (the author of these statements) and are totally unconfirmed and at best third hand reports. The National Enquirer has better sources for most of its stories.

It is just a piece of paper, it is the words on the paper that matter. Bush is trying to protect the country from terrorist, if a few liberties get stepped on so be it.

It's funny how you crazy liberals never bring up Clinton's blatant disregard for the Constitution or his treasonous acts against the United States.
