Has anyone else heard this commercial and called the #. i called and they said it is a new Vegas resort that has the first phase finished and to bring people in they are offering 4 day 3 night free stay with $500 slot card and tickets to two shows. It is supposed to be like a second honeymoon for married couples and they said they are bribing people with a free stay in hopes that through word of mouth more family and friends will come and stay at their resort.
sounds pretty good although there is a refundable $99 deposit to make sure you check in and actually stay at the resort and not just take the free stuff and run. the deposit is refunded when you check in i believe. want to know if anyone has tried this and if so what do you think. i cat imagine KFI640 would be a party to anything that wasn't on the up and up.

We toured Tahiti Village in May ... it's nice, but expensive and way down past Mandalay Bay on the strip. If you can get a bargain to tour it, go ahead, but don't buy one! You can go to Marriott Grand Chateau and get a super nice time share for half the price, and it's on the Harmon corridor in the center of the Miracle Mile.

Tahiti Village is probably losing money on their timeshares due to the price and are trying to get people out there. The sales people are very pushy and won't take no for an answer without being rude to them.

I am unfamiliar with Tahiti Village (although I am familiar with KFI!).

There is a possibility that there is some sort of sales presentation that you must attend (like a time-share, where you buy a week or two of vacation time at the resort). And some of those presentations can be pretty feisty.

Before giving over a credit card number, ask for a contract with the arrangements.

They have the same commercial on TV here with Allen Thick hocking it. It is a timeshare it says on the TV commercial (in verrrry small print). So you will have to attend a sales pitch. Don't go if you can't say no, otherwise it could be a fun trip to Vegas with a free room and show.

Time Share deals...
The deposit is to make sure you show up.
Sit thru a 90 minute/4 hour sales pitch in exchange for the gift. In this case, the weekend getaway.

They are hard sales pitches... These guys make used car dealers look like amatuers

KFI doesn't sponsor "Tahiti Village" on its own. Its actually a nationwide commercial.
