Jibbing is fun but remember that your board will break after heavy use on rails. Some boards last longer than others but it's truly only a matter of time before you blow your board up. Keep in mind that even though a company will advertise their board as a Park/Rail board, they won't cover it under their warranty if they believe it was broken on a rail (and yes, you can tell if it was or not).

That said, I'd go with something a little less expensive for park riding. The Burton Dominant is great for the park and it comes in a slick model that has recessed edges so you won't hang up on the rails too easily, doesn't turn worth a damn but it's great for jibbing. I wouldn't recommend the Powers as it's super stiff and designed mainly for the pipe.

Also, Santa Cruz's TT boards are awesome. I like the Seth Huot. I've answered a couple of question like this in more detail here. Check out them out if you want.

in simple terms because Burton is widely used does no longer mean that this is the superb decision available. not in any respect summer time is a variety this is taking off to advance, their products are made in u . s . a . of america, specifically Colorado. they have enhanced a lot this is awesome. Their forums include an dazzling 3 12 months assure and the time-honored is out of the easy. there is also more cost-effective forums available that are literally not so accepted manufacturers, which also are great high quality. It also relies upon on what you're in my opinion searching for although. i'd in simple terms take the time and carry out a touch analyze on a pair forums that spark your pastime and word what human beings ought to say specifically about that board because a range of of the individuals on the following are not even snowboarders, they have in simple terms heard of Burton and at cutting-edge answer with Burton for something they in all likelihood can.

I ride a Burton Custom. It offers great versatility whether in the park or freeriding. However, if I was going to go for a strictly freestyle board....I would probably give the '06 Burton Powers a try. They say it has that buttery feel you are after and should offer some nice pop.

oh yes, the lamar exile has tons of flex and perfect for rails. if you ever get the chance to go to utah, go to canyons. with the lamar exile you get much more air than any other board i know of. even without a jump and just cruising down the hill, i can jump and get 3 feet! i got my board from a friend in new jersey because a board shop there had an incredible sale going, and i got mine for $40 and the origonal price was $250.
I HOPE I HELPED, HAPPY BOARDING.
