Most people just stick with what others have said, like their favorite celebrity, instead of doing research of their own.
I believe if everyone in this country actually took the time to get involved with politics, there would be way more Republicans.
Democrats count on people to not challenge anything they say or do, because if they are challenged and people listen, they will lose votes. Look at John Kerry, in one sentence he will be on 10 different sides of an issue. Democrats don't care, they just see the (D-MA) after his name and punch the ticket!

Well, I hope I'm not of "them" lol! but the news media companies are predominantly controlled by right wing interests, so it seems to me, when I hear people say stuff, that's why we now have "created" freedom in so many countries all round the world...(yeah right!) i know they are listening to the wrong "hole"- the world is going to hell in a handbasket, while the conservatives,(who don't actually conserve anything) are whistling in the graveyard oblivious to any actual, factual events and fair, truthful reporting- like in the rest of the world.
>>>The six current media conglomerates are Disney, Viacom, Time Warner, News Corp, Bertelsmann, and General Electric. These companies together own more than 90% of the media market.<<<

these are not so called "liberal" media types- it's all about multinational -corporatism- not "we the people" although i wish it was, but it isn't- so i guess i agree-

Maybe people answer just to get points rather than caring about the topic? I usually only answer when I know alot about a topic and can sincerely help another person. Sometimes I answer at random like this question.

Because noone really knows about politics, its all just a great big spin story... hard to know the truth. The goverments dont want us to get involved in politics. they dont really advertise or take it to the people. I think i speak truly ov every goverment. If we all got political then the gov would actually have to do shtuff or get thrown out of power.

I think because the majority of people here seem to be under 18. They don't know or CARE about such things. They want to know how to get a BF or a GF!

atBecause most people are ignorant about politics, they only care or read about things that affects themselves. Most people are also closed mind to any opinion that contradicts their own. But you and some very few, are open minded and listens to all views before making you stand, that why it is 'so obvious' to you.

Perhaps it's cause you have supersonic mentality to perceive so well......No, that won't work cause you asked such a supersonic stupid question.
Why don't you just go on and tell us all about it, so we can have at least an inkling.

Why is it so obvious that you have yet to state your topic to which you are referring? I think what you meant to say that we have no clue what YOU are talking about.
