I was gonna get Proactin but they say that St. Ives is better and clears skin a lot faster but now people are saying that its better for oily skin instead of skin with acne and pimples.

It is crap- do not use it. Stick to Aveeno or something mild.

I love the St. Ives Apricot Scrub. What I do is this: I only have a few pimples here and there, and relatively normal skin (not too oily, not too dry) so I take accutane to clear my skin a little more and use the St. Ives Scrub. I would recommend taking a medication plus washing your face morning and night (and any additional times if necessary).

If your daughter has sensitive skin DON"T USE THIS PRODUCT! It's way to stonge for sensitive skin but i'm not sure if it's ok for oily skin. if your daghter has a break out( the skin gets dry) Try giving her nutrigina's cleansers, there is this one where it puts make moister in her skin. And If you want to spend less on the St. Ives Apricot Scrub you can get it through the target brand for much cheaper.

I tried the St. Ives Apricot Scrub and didn't like it much because I felt like the little apricot particles were too rough on the skin. I love Neutrogena daily scrub though- gentle and mild and effective.

Oily skin it may work on... however, I would not use a scrub on active acne - it will make the acne red and could cause pimples to pop and cause bleeding/scarring.

I think it is better for oily skin that is PRONE to break outs. Don't actually use it while you have the acne as it can get irritated and make the acne worse.

I have combination skin and St. Ives Apricot Scrub works for me. Although I don't like it's scent.

It's bad for everyone because it has ground nut shells in it which are abraisive and will leave tiny scars on your sensitive facial skin. Use a facial scrub that's less abraisive. Almay makes good facial products for cheap

Every ones skin is different, but for me I didn't like using it on my face. I actually broke out some more! But I do like using it on my legs after I shave, it makes them very soft!

i used to use that for lite blckheads but it is very very abrasive and i statred to think bout the harm that rough stuff does to my soft skin and i stop using it. i would say not for heavily acned skin
