Have you ever heard of/ watched Speed Racer (it origninally aired in 1966, and was either still on or reaired in the 90s)? When I was a younger I used to watch it all of the time, and pretty much everybody I know knows what Speed Racer is. I went on vacation with my step-mom's family a couple weeks ago, and found out that none of them had ever heard of Speed Racer (though they are all the appropriate age to have watched it at some point in their lives). Are they the exception to the norm, or do I just hang out with a bunch of nerds?

We know "Speed Racer" well. Unfortunatley, they don't make cartoons like that any more. He even had a brief stint on a commercial not long ago, but I can't remember what for. I'd say they're out of touch if they haven't heard of it, but that's just my opinion!!

I was born in the early 90's and the second you mentioned Speed Racer I got excited!! So I think that they must be an exception!!!!!!

I was born in 1980 and have seen Speed Racer. They must all be living under rocks.

Yes, I know of "Speed Racer" he was so so, I was born in the 50's so he did seem a little hokey to me, him and his monkey. Oh, let us not forget his not so smart girl friend.I say girl friend because I don't believe there was ever anything between the two of them other than being friends.I can't believe anyone from that day and time not knowing of him unless they kept their head in the sand.

I remember Speed Racer; my brother watched this more than I did. I had no idea this show was that old.

I watched Speed Racer as a kid but my favorite was Ultraman and Johnny Soko, we would run home to watch them.
