I write down dreams I have... then I start changing things. It wasn't my sister who was after me with a knife, it was the Mad Lady Claire! Who is jealous because I stole her fiance! Etc.

I also write down things that really happened to me... and then, again, I start changing things. I didn't really say that awful embarrassing thing, I said the cool thing I didn't think of till 2 days later... and everyone was in awe of my wit and verbal prowess...

The title can come after you've written it. You'll probably just want to change itat the end anyway if you give it one at the beginning.

I also recommend writing short stories before jumping into a whole book.

Hi
Well i am a musician who loves reading about other musicians and their lives and give lots of credit to authors for their and compilations research. What i would think would also be a great i idea for a book would be a romantic story about two musicians who fall in love as a result of their passion of their music . I am a bit bias because i play the Cello but you don't get too many books like that, and i would be the first to buy it if you did right something like that. I would be different :)
hope i was of some use
good luck

Here are some story starters/story sparkers below. Enjoy:

*Write from the point of view of someone who committed a murder today. Do not mention the murder.

*Write a story that begins "The last time I saw my mother was 15 years ago."

*Write a story that begins with a phone call at 3 o'clock in the morning.

write a novel about the adventures of a stork looking for his people after he lost them during migration from europe to africa; the title would be "lost roots".

i am truly sorry, but any piece of work has to be from something that inspires you, not others, but, here's something... The fine line between love and hate is thin, you just have to recognize it
