I have a lot of heavy musical instruments, i.e., amps and keyboards, and i was wondering if anybody knew of a ggod way to sell them. I know of ebay of course, but the shipping prices that go along with such items usually deters people from buying since they can get new equipment from places like Musicians Friend and the shipping is usually minimal.

Check out Craigslist - www.craigslist.org. You can find your specific local area there and post up classified ads for free. Since it is mostly local, you can arrange a pick up for the instruments, or meet up to sell or barter too.

Put them in a music store and let them sell them for you on consignment.
