heck yes it was freakin tight. its really suspenseful and interesting..makes you kinda question the world you live in now...the action was tight too. have you seen Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions? there both good but i think Revolutions was better...if you havent seen it yet..you GOTTA check it out!

The first movie was excellent. Very well produced, directed and acted. And the premise of the movie (Earth being alien controlled) was original and well done.
Unfortunately, for me, the sequels couldn't match the original.

Most definitely! I'm one of the few people who also liked the sequels (except for the orgy in Reloaded), but the first movie is the best in the series.

Um, yes I did love it. I admit it freely, I own all of them including the Animatrix. I don't love the last two except for the effects, but really, that's the reason I love the first one. Dazzle me, Neo.

I loved it. A deep storyline. Thrilling effects. A modern classic that earned a place in popular culture.

probably the best of the three. the sequels copies the first by doing everything bigger and better.
