Implantation usually occurs 7-10 days after conception. It may cause a small amount of bleeding, which is usually noted before a missed period, and is lighter and doesn't last as long as a normal period. This is because as the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall, a little bit of that lining is shed, as opposed to the whole lining that is shed every month when a woman is not pregnant.

You may have ovulated on the 30th of June, which would mean you would be 14 days after conception today. Most pregnancy tests will come up with an accurate result at about this time. I wouldn't waste your money buying the early pregnancy tests that claim to detect if you are pregnant 5-7 days before a missed period. This is because as all women are different, and we all produce the pregnancy hormone hCG, that the tests pick up, at a different rate, some women have to wait longer than others to get an accurate test result. Most women in the forums I talk in have to wait until the day that their period id due to get an accurate result, and others like myself have to wait until a few days after a missed period.

Good luck, and I hope I could help you!

I'm going to include the link to a trying to conceive forum that I think you might find useful. It's full of supportive women with boundless knowledge about these issues. I learnt so much there that I doubt I would have learnt otherwise.

It takes from 8-10 days after ovulation for baby to implant, but it can happen 6 days after ovulation. I had implantation 8 days after ovulation, after implantation you have to wait at least a week for a test to turn out positive because the hcg hormone will be at very low numbers to be detected in a HPT, so I would wait another week and I would test again.

It's probably to early to tell with an at home test. Try testing closer to when your period is due, first thing in the morning, when the hgl concentration is at it's highest in your urine. Good luck!
