Sadly it is not. Because of it's size and natural wealth it has been able to dictate to the world and break most of the internationally accepted laws of the rest of the world.
The world looked to America for leadership and failled to find it. America is only interested in itself and it's influence.
It's influence is waining, it's economy is waining and it has made far too many enemies. Unless it takes action now it will slip from first place in the world.
Whilst no one in the thinking world wantas that but America seems to be on the path of self destruction.

As soon as the Europeans came over, it ceased to be distinct. North America has been copying other people's cultures ever since. None of our TV shows are original. Neither is our music, except for indigenous and jazz music.
