i am now about 5 days late for my period and i have taken 3 preg test and i took the first one 3 days before my period it came out neg took another one on Tue the 11th two days after my missed period same results neg still no period so i went to the doctor today and took another test neg again so she did a blood test and i will get the results on mon. ... i am just wondering if there are any women out there that have gone through this then had a positive blood test back i am just looking for some hope ..THANKS !!!

I am cutting and pasting from a similar question.
With my first son I was taking EPT test for 6 months before one came up positive. I knew I was pregnant I just couldn't get a test to confirm. Even at the doctors office I took a few pee tests that were negative-so the doctor felt like I wasn't pregnant, finally I went to a different doctor in the same office they did blood and it came back positive. If you think your pregnant seriously start taking prenatal vitamins don't drink or smoke. With my 2nd son I didn't bother with pee tests I just went to the doctor and asked for blood and that was positive.Hope it works out for you.

I have had that happen to me before. I had to wait until my period was a week late to get a positive result on the pregnancy test. It turned out that I had a blighted ovum pregnancy, which inevitably caused a miscarriage. I now realise that I didn't get a positive test very early, because of the slow rise of the pregnancy hormone hCG, that is detected by the test. In most unhealthy pregnancies the pregnancy hormone hCG is at an abnormal and very low amount.
I'm not in the least saying that this will happen to you, many women just produce the pregnancy hormone at a different rate than others. I sincerely hope that you are pregnant, and I wish you all the best of luck!

I took 3 home tests which 2 of the 3 came back neg. The one in the middle came back pos. Went to the doc and I was.

YES the same thing happened to me and when I got my blood test back, I was pregnant, but my HCG level was really low (116) My Dr. continued to test my levels for the nest two weeks and they only went up 220. He completed an ultra sound and determined that I was pregnant in my tube.
To have a tubal pregnancy is really, really rare and I wouldn't work about it if I were you.
It could just be the HPT.... it just may not be as accurate as 1st response...
Tell your doctor to read you your Beta HCG level. Your levels should double every 48 - 72 hrs.

i was 2 1/2 months pregnant before i found out. home pg test came out negative even after a missed period, wel i spotted for three days, blood test finally confirmed pregnancy awhile after that. i have low hcg levels and my babys were fine!!

I went through this same thing don't worry your self if messes with the test. But when this happened to me my blood test came back positive and confirmed what i already new.
