There are quite a few qualified candidates from across the political spectrum. Colin Powell, Condeleeza rice, Hillary Clinton, to name a few. It is up to the American people to have the courage to elect the best person for the job instead of who has the biggest campaign budget.

Back when John Kennedy was elected in 1961. The Irish were a minority in the United States.
Soon after that Irish Americans were truly respected which comes to their status in America today.
Alot of Irish Americans also credit John F. Kennedy becoming President really helping the race.

Yes I believe we will. There are currently many African Americans in politics and they are doing alot of great work as well as several Hispanics. SO i do believe its only a matter of time.

Maybe, but I don't really care either way. If I think they will make a good President, then I will vote for them - I couldn't care less about their skin color.

It may happen sooner rather than later. I can't remember the gentlemans name who is from Illinois, but he would make an interesting candidate for office.
