"The Chrysalids", by John Wyndham.

I mentioned this one to you before.....and, in fact, i began reading it again today at work. (Yes, i *am* a model employee. Thanks for asking!) I'll probably mention it in future answers as i progress through it.....because i *really* think you would like this one.

But what is it about, and why do i love it so much?

To sum up (and not give anything away) it is about intolerance and inflexibility.....and how they react to change.

I work in an environment with a lot of ultra-religious people. (No, don't worry, i am not at risk of going over to the dark side!) And this book is exactly the thing to remind me how happy i am i *didn't* go down that road.

(I want to tell you so much more.....but i really hope you'll read it, someday!)

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

This is one of those books that make you think there is something wrong with this guy. It isn't really about motorcycle maintenance or Zen stuff. I'll never look at life the same after reading it.

The Power of Intention by Dr. Wayne Dyer. Great stuff.!! I highlighted most of the book, he gave such good ideas. I changed the way I look at things. "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."

The 'Seat of the Soul' by Gary Zukav. It impacted me so much; I bought a couple dozen copies of it and passed them out. It is a "must read" and enhanced my own growth and spiritual enlightenment.
